I apologize for the Beardown-esque nature of this thread, but I've listened to about half the show this morning via podcast now and this guy has a couple weak spots but overall it's startling how much better he is than Spiegel, Drinky, Rozner, etc. Within a year or two he's gonna be the best host on the station.

He's just absolutely clowning Spiegel whenever they disagree. It's great as a novelty but they need to get him a better partner.

First show....he lost me suggesting Rodgers is the best ever.
Second show...very good.
This was an unusual week where I was work 2nd shift and could listen. Back to normal next week and I'll never hear him.

Completely agree a more complimentary voice is needed. He's very good, very entertaining....he can stay.

Didn't listen last week because solo radio is always awful but I've been listening again yesterday and today. Spiegel's dislike of him and insecurity is getting more palpable, which just makes me like Parkins more. I'd love to hear Parkins with Goff.

Parkins is good. Not great but solid. Nice hire. I can see why the KC market hated to lose him. Very easy listen. The can't do it bit is good. Like him so far.
