Well, Abreu is seven points higher when adjusted for the fact that he plays in the league that is 30 games above .500 head to head against the league Rizzo plays in.

Jose Altuve is a Top 5 hitter. Rizzo is not. Abreu is not.

As an objective baseball fan, I can recognize that the best players in the league don't necessarily all play on my favorite team.

"Jose Abreu doesn't have Jose Altuve power" is not the same thing as 'Altuve had a better 2016 than Abreu did.' 'Kris Bryant doesn't have Tim Anderson power' is an absurd thing to say, correct? Ask me how much I've spent in repairs, landscaping, appliances and insurance over the same years. So far, I haven't minded, at all, paying a premium for peace of mind. If I were a light bulb stock boy, things might have to be different.

Altuve is a better hitter and player than Abreu(and Rizzo) nobody ever disputed that, ever. ISO tells us all we need to know about their respective power, outside of last year's fluke season.
