The touchdown to Jones really wasn't impressive. Newly minted Poles acquisition TJ Edwards didn't cover his man and then decided to give up on the play. But enjoy.

But yet in preseason Fields throws screen passes for touchdowns and the whole fucking world rejoices.

Those types of plays were supposed to have been eliminated with Edwards and Edmunds. It didn't look like it to me

That has nothing to do with Jones. Your defensiveness is a clue that deep down you know the receivers and Jones did all the hard work yesterday. We're not really sure what love did.

He played a damn good game is what he did, it is 1 game but he was damn good and converted a ton of 3rd downs.

This doesn't surprise me, you generally arent too sure of what you're watching when it comes to football from the sound of your takes.

Yup. If he plays like that every week we will be a top NFC team.

You guys are shook and you know it. He was average - certainly not great. Not enough to beat the super teams. But sure have fun celebrating a win over a team that starts an aerobics instructor at QB.

notice how he stopped his drop back and then hopped around 4 or 5 times in place before the throw... that would be nice if our qb had time to do that.

In Fields' dreams he could not freeze a linebacker with a trick pass.

He stops his drop back because he hits his spot, then it is about keeping your feet alive so that you can make throws out of sequence a little like this.

He does. But then he fails to process what he's seeing in front of him then scrambles or gets sacked.

Bears fans spent all off-season singing ding dong the witch is dead and now are grasping at straws when it was the same movie again. Even the team itself was doing it. All this thread looks like is sour grapes.

We'll see how the season progresses agianst better teams, but now its obvious that Love was held accountable all off-season when he wasn't performing. That's how you make a guy get better. Swim or drown.

Meanwhile Justin Fields in year three looks exactly like the same passer he was as a rookie and he still gets coddled and still is blessed with this unconditional faith and trust. That's how you make a guy entitled. Don't even make him go in the water.

Are you trying to move the goalposts now? You thought the Bears would win. Packers kicked their ass. And you think we're shook?

When and where did I say they'd win? I think the Bears are shit. I think Gute is also shit.

Bad! Those accuracy issues will be a problem against better teams. He does get the ball out quickly.

That was a solid game for Love. There were an awful lot of recent Packers draft picks playing well and contributing yesterday. Now do it again next week. I didn't get to watch the majority of the game last year when the Packers visited the Bears but I thought the pack and their qb were kind of shit in that game but somehow pulled it off. I revisited it. Love was better in yesterays game than Rodgers was in that same game last year. It must have been all those Gutey draft picks that carried Love yesterday.

Love was 8 of 10 for 141 yards and 2 TDs on 3rd & 4th down.

Time will tell but I tend to believe that Jordan Love is not getting near enough credit and the Packers supporting cast is getting a little overhyped. Definite exception is Romeo Doubs and possible exception Lukas Van Ness. The truth is most of these guys faced stiffer competition in college than they do playing a team built by Ryan Poles.

I also liked Luke Musgrave. I know he had some weird issues making adjustments, but I think the first pass would've sailed him regardless and the truth is man, you just gotta haul it in. He didn't score, but on busted plays like where your quarterback makes an incredible play just to save the down all you gotta do is haul it in. Don't drop the thing and make it all for naught.

Even IF the Packers "Fail" and spend $50M on Love, so sad to think based off of current developments, it would be the best thing the Bears could do.
