It brought back a lot of memories and took me back to a time & place of where I was 25 years ago. North had a thing back then....but he turned into something completely different over the years. I honestly can't stand the guy. He is the guy who buys you a drink...and tells everybody he did so...for the rest of time. I have a blind spot for North. I was infuriated with him breaking up the golden era of the Score for his aggrandizement as anyone here, yet I always advocate his return. Even yesterday so many unlikable qualities were on display me too. Every station needs a village idiot to spur conversation. Pair him with a partner that can pen him in and you'd have a good show. |

Why is it that so many posters think that has-beens would do better than current hosts. North, Brandmeier, Coppock,...et. al.? They are not on the air for a reason. It's not burnt bridges or personality differences...it's plain and simply ratings. They will never be what they were (or at least what you remember them to be). Let it go. |
