Attaboy for not kowtowing to stale baseball tradition. The times are a-changing, and he recognizes it. The Cubs are World Series champions, and Wrigley has a videoboard (2 of them!) and lights. 28 out of 30 markets have live-streaming of baseball games. We have instant replay. Having to throw the ball four times to a catcher just to give a guy a free pass is no more. The All-Star exhibition game no longer factors into the World Series.

Players are faster, stronger and overall better than they have ever been. Mickey Mantle wouldn't be able to carry Clint Frazier's cup in 2017. Mickey Mantle trying to hit Kershaw, Sale or Arrieta. Pleeeeeaaaaassssseeeee ... gtfo of here with that shiz.

Jake Arrieta doesn't belong on the same diamond as Mickey Mantle. And I doubt Clint Frazier even has a big league career. He'll probably be traded to the Sox.
