If we stop, we usually hit Phantom in Burns Harbor. I've gotten some good deals there on like July 3 when we're on our way to the in-laws' in Michigan.

I can't stand Kaplan's just because of what a zoo it is in there - its assholes-to-elbows every time I go - would love a more low-key, off the beaten path-type of place.

94 and US 20. It's not exactly a mom n pop stand. HUGE warehouse. You do get away from a lot of the Illinois traffic and the IL cops don't stake out and call in plate numbers from there either.
