Way to honor Booker T on your first and presumably last WWE appearance.

Haven't seen a botched promo like that since the Shockmaster.

Marketing classes will be looking at La Var Ball as a case study in the future. I don't know if he thought this up himself or was helped by very. smart. people. but there is genius in his work.

His WWE participation is small potatoes.

Even if his son and company fall flat on its face, he has created something out of nothing. I'd go as far as to say he drives the brand more than his sons.

A case study on how people think marketing is just one gigantic hype machine and praise someone's marketing ability despite not showing any revenue, much less profit?

Step 1: Act like buffoon and make a name for yourself

Step 2: ?

Step 3: Profit

LaVar Ball, to this point, is far less successful than even the Cash Me Ousside girl or the Pineapple Apple Pen guy. They've both monetized their ridiculous personas.

LaVar Ball has so far:

1) Started a clothing manufacturer that is losing money daily and has brought in zero new investors
2) Turned his projected #2 overall draft pick son into the actual #2 overall draft pick
3) Reduced that NBA player's ability to leverage endorsement deals

edit: I wonder how much of Lonzo's rookie contract money is going to WWE in order to pay for this 'sponsored content.'

Well said, his clothing line and shoe line will both be belly up in a year with creditors chasing that loud mouthed dumbass.

I'm quite certain WWE inquired if they wanted to make an appearance ... there's no chance the Balls called Stamford ... Stamford called them.

In fact, I'd further opine that WWE paid for their travel and accommodations and, as payment for their appearance, aside from the appearance itself was the chance to push his clothing or whatever shit.

The WWE has an entire sales department that calls trying to sell ad space and sponsored content, just like radio stations and magazines do

"You guys want exposure? RAW has x,xxx viewers per week and your brand will also be shown on our website, etc. etc. Just $50,000 for the full package, and we'll let you put some t-shirts in the ring."

Nah, they payed them to show up...figured with LaVarr being in the sports news too much and his kid getting drafted #2 by the Lakers, it would be a good mainstream tie in considering they were at the Staples Center on Monday night.

We definitely know Vince had nothing to do with it. Otherwise the Balls would have shown up 5 years from now.

I'm shocked that a black teenager used the n-word. I would think w/ a father like LaVar he'd be brought up better.

Half black, the other half coming from his mom who is recovering from a stroke. I think Vince missed an opportunity of working LaVar's wife in the hospital into the bit.

He could've had Braun Strowman beat her over the head w/ an ambulance.
