It's comparable to someone talking about the Sun coming up tomorrow.

There is no hope for anyone in the NBA to improve their standing unless injury occurs.

Nope...denied...Goff should take the advice he supposedly gave Derrick Rose..."When the people stop cheering you or caring, you're dead." Goff, ratings are down, probably due to you...take your advice and leave.

NBA talk in July. And they wonder why their ratings suck.

It's a damn shame Larz is on hiatus as he would usually post the ratings showing W&S killing them. He had access to the breakdowns on demos and would be able to show how they are doing on days where the Cubs don't artificially boost their slot.

Seriously, when does Mitch step in? We know he told Mac to limit the Hawks talk, but that clearly drew higher ratings than B&G's NBA talk. He is he that much of a pussy to tell Bernstein to cut it out?

July is a pretty huge month for the NBA. Free agency was easily the biggest storyline in all of sports for the first 10 days of July.

I have no problems with people hating on B&G, but content complaints this month are disingenuous at best.

Yeah, the 2017 NBA Free agency will go down in the books. Shit like Daniallo Galinari to the Lakers and Jeff Teague to the TWolves puts 2010 to shame.

They were complaining about NBA talk during the season and playoffs too.

They hate the NBA so much that terms like hate-listen have been retired in correlation with Walt's Welding kit!

Do you even know what you just said? "2010 NBA free agency was a bigger story than 2017 free agency, therefore 2017 nba free agency is not an important sports story." You aren't too bright.

But you have to admit the content complaints are disingenuous.

Imagine you can program the show. For all five hours these two will talk about whatever subject you deem necessary. Do you think this would turn it into a show you like listening to?

Yep shout out to the boys for giving great advice. I took it and don't listen anymore.

I want to hear about sports (other than hockey, golf, mma) on my ride home. Not about goffs kid and wife or other parts of his boring ass life. Bernstein I like, but think less of him each day he is on the air with big mouth Jason.

Speak for yourself Cowboy Bob. You probably thought of Dan McNeil's countdown to Platteville as scintillating radio at one time.

The lowest I can recall. B&B were always at the top, they never trailed W&S. They are now consistently behind W&S.

During Boers's absence was there a dropoff?

You can argue it's not a big story locally but this post is just country dumb. There's a reason 2017 NBA free agency was the biggest story in all of sports the past 3 weeks.

Yeah even I'm pretty sick of NBA talk at this point but Bernstein and Goff are hardly unique offenders in the amount of attention they're giving it. ESPN has been arguably even more dominated by NBA coverage over the past few weeks (national coverage at least; I don't listen to 1000).

Local sports radio should be about local sports mostly. The playoffs can make national sports be ok to dominate the discussion in any sport.

I disagree but I'm fine with that opinion. I'm simply saying it's dumb to imply NBA free agency wasn't a major sports story this month.
