I expect the worse from BRICK, but wow. taking shots at a former cancer survivor trying to help pediatric cancer patients. Not a good look TP's. Between this and the PM/Docking thread it's been a rough few day here. Take some time off.

That mystery was heightened by an eye-opening report on Sunday's "Outside the Lines," which found that 74 percent of 115 athlete charities investigated fell short of acceptable nonprofit standards used by the top three charity watchdogs. Odom's charity, named for his mother, who died of cancer when Lamar was 12, was highlighted as one of the most egregious offenders.

But hey, I'm wrong to even think of it at all because Rizzo is a great player!

So you're saying that you're cynical?

I would say suspicious but as I said before, if you want to call me cynical then I no longer care.

Shocking to think Lamar "crack head" Odom's "charity" was a scam...

Can you tell me why then?

The Children's Hospital and what they do and what others do is awesome. It's awesome that doug and others have beaten cancer and that things are improving every day in fighting it. I haven't said a single bad thing about the hospital, the kids, or even anything definitive about this specific charity case so I really don't understand why he would be so mad at me for simply pointing out that athletes charities can be questionable. If you took my posts here and substituted Lance Armstrong's cancer charity I don't think anyone would say anything now but certainly it was defended the same way back then.

I appreciate the help. If I accidentally said I hate kids with cancer then I would like to find it and apologize.

My childhood dog got hit by a car and died. Any jokes you want to make about it, Rick?

Rick would you care if Armstrong is a good guy or not if he wrote a 4 million dollar check to a kids hospital?

As I said, I think Rizzo is probably a good guy.

What if the person was a guy who pretty much just trolls others with a large percentage of his posts, picking fights and looming for arguments and carrying time on for pages and pages at a time? Would you understand it then?
