For voting to allow the state to garnish wages for outstanding higher education loans. I don't understand why this is part of an attack ad. Why does Pritzker think it's OK for people to not honor their commitments and to stiff the government, and therefore, the taxpayers? It's not my fault you can't find a job with your women's studies degree.

Yep. And as the article says, it's all about erasing the stigma of being fat. Or in other words, it encourages fat people to stay fat and bringing up health issues pertaining to obesity like diabetes or heart disease is actually a form of bigotry and more harmful to fat people than the diseases themselves.

There is great book out there by Bruce Bawer called The Victims' Revolution about all the different identity studies courses and majors in colleges and universities. It's pretty scary.

I'm not feeling bad for the government, but it is just strange that a gubernatorial candidate is attacking an opponent for trying to make people honor their debts. It does seem interesting that the "student loans aren't real loans and shouldn't be paid back" crowd actually seems to be winning the argument.

I've gotten texts from one of his minions too. He plans on taxing "LaSalle Street" financial and commodity trades (good luck with that as they will just move the computers elsewhere to avoid the taxes) and raising personal income tax rates to "fund the schools" without implementing property tax caps. This will just screw over those already living in high property tax areas who will receive less in state school funding under the new school funding formula: higher income tax rates plus no relief from high property taxes (which will probably rise to make up for the loss in state funding). Sorry math teacher, the math does not add up.
