He was very kind. It was an odd thing to see but whatever, I think she did one 360 maybe? Can't remember, she really basically just turned at the top of the pipe.

I think it was a 180 each of the last two climbs.

She seems like a professional gadfly, who is trying to parlay this into a reality show career.

deadspin did a deeper dive, interesting lady. also, she is one of the few less successful than JDC at begging for money... her go fundme to attend qualifying events netted $0

I think it's great the Olympics returns to its roots sometimes: bored rich people who can afford to just play weird sports and not have real jobs.

I went to high school with a guy who really wanted to be an Olympian. He played soccer with me in high school and wasn't too good. Neither was I, but we had a very good team. He also tried his hand at tennis. I was shocked years later when I saw he had a career as a goalie in one of the pro soccer leagues. In the U.S., but still. He couldn't even get on the field when we were in high school. He finally made the Olympics in Atlanta as the third string goalie on the team handball team. You have to admire that kind of persistence.
