After watching a good portion of the game yesterday against Green Bay, I’m convinced Tomlin has made a deal with the devil because that fucking Pittsburgh team is awful to watch play football. The fact they have six wins has to have otherworldly reasons because they’re putrid.

Read somewhere that they are the first team to be outgained every week thru 9 games and have a winning record. The offense is spectacularly bad. 6-3 with a -26 point differential. Win the close games (9 straight 1 possession wins), and get blown-out on the days the devil isn't paying attention....

I think it’s because they are +8 or 9 in turnover differential. They seem to get either the stop they need or a turnover late in games.

Tomlin is lucky and also there are smoke and mirrors. At some point though you make your own results over the years. This yearor two he is lucky enough to have the defense when there is zero offense.
