While I think he’s a good coach and maybe has underachieved a little bit when the Steelers were good but is going to extend his streak of never having finished under .500 , with some not very good teams ( especially this one , Roethlisberger fucking sucks ) along the way . Remarkable consistency .

Can’t they still finish 7-9-1?

Do they even have anyone in the pipeline to replace Ben?

Mason, but that guy looks like a career backup

It's a bad year to be drafting QB as well. Pickett is the same guy he was last year but will be drafted in the 1st rather than the 5th

Aaron Rodgers???

It's a minor miracle they are 7-6-1, and still have an outside chance of playoffs. However, if they make the playoffs, will definitely have to earn it. @Chiefs, Browns, @Ravens to finish.

That tie in Detroit will probably keep them from the payoffs though but still pretty impressive nonetheless .

That O-line seems to be a major problem.

Yeah, that's going to haunt them.

Another reason for the Chargers and Raiders to have a kneelfest.

It just shows that bad teams can still get in if the organization is well run. It should give you a glimmer of hope. Frank. Except for the well run organization part.

If by organization you mean coaching I agree. However the Steelers should have replaced Ben by now. He hasn’t been good for a while now and they should have addressed that at least a year ago.

In a down year they (likely) make the playoffs. I'll take that.

I'm still going with Harbaugh even though he had a few questionable decisions this year.

Totally fair. The Steelers actually are what the Bears think they are.

Mitch to Pittsburgh?

Wouldn't that be something?

Mitch goes to the Steelers and cruises for the next 10 years.

They could do worse than Mitch for a bridge year.

At .500 again this year with a rookie qb ( and a bad one as his backup), a victory vs Cleveland next week and the streak continues . This is not a good team ( just like last years ) . The fact theyre even sniffing .500 and the playoffs is an accomplishment. Big yikes to Frankys post above .

TJ Watt holds it all together. They want to play great defense and grind out a possible win. They couldn't do that defensively when he was injured. Despite all of the talent on offense, they have some scheme issues. Pickett is a gamer though.

Pickett made two throws on that last drive that were eye-popping. Haven’t seen him play much but he has some vision and touch, at least on that game-winning drive.
