For Keeping It Real About Michael Jordan during a podcast a few weeks ago and the NBA in general. Interesting stuff.

Pretty good interview. He is an asshole. But not as big an asshole as Jordan.

Maybe they do beat the Bulls if he doesn't have a fucked up wrist. Maybe they don't. But one thing for sure. Gordon beats St. Joe's if Paul Volpe doesn't miss that fucking free throw.

Isiah is a sweet Westsider. He didn't have as much pull as he thinks he did. He should enjoy his 2 trophies.

I'm sure no one on the Bulls had injuries either.

Yep, he is a little bitch. Always has been. Them leaving the court early when the Bulls beat them will forever show that.

Jordan has his silly excuses too. Like that he wasn't in "basketball shape" when he threw the ball to Nick Anderson and they got spanked out of the playoffs by Orlando. So it was ACKSHUALLY a Bulls 6-peat.

Great point.

Skulked away early with that impish grin cause he wasn't classy enough to face Jordan

  Considering what he and the Bulls did the following season, yeah I think its safe to say Jordan wasn't quite at the top of the his game when he was wearing 45.

It was actually an 8-Peat. The Houston Rockets didn't even get real gold Larry Obrien trophies those two years, it was tin with gold spray paint.

If Jordan was saying that, especially 30 years later, then it may be relevant.

But if you want to define Jordan as only winning 6 titles in 7 years then go ahead. I think that's still pretty good.

Jordan gave the Pistons veteran all star team fits by himself. Isiah wants to pretend the teams were evenly matched. He's one of the greatest pound for pound players ever, but he shouldn't delude himself into believing he was in Jordan's class. A guy like Iverson knows his place.

His point regarding having to "take care of Jordan" on the West Side might be valid however. Particularly during Jordan's earlier years in the NBA. Says a lot about Jordan that he never actually acknowledged it at any point during his dissing of Isiah.

That's the point Isiah was making. Jordan wasn't capable of doing that until the league changed the rules to facilitate it.

Why would Jordan ever have to set foot at Jackson and Homan? Is there a Gibsons there that I don't know about?

Both of these guys are dipshits.

What Isiah said about Jordan's denigration of Jerry Krause also has merit too. Krause didn't deserve to be treated the way that he was by Jordan. No matter what you thought of him as a GM.

Jordan was a home body like Kobe his first couple of years in the league. Oakley ultimately took him under his wing.

If that’s true, he should have said it 37 years ago when people would’ve still believed it without skepticism.

As for Detroit (aside from Dumars and Salley iiirc) skulking off, the Bulls won and I always thought it was the the sparkle in the victory champagne. Who cares. But it remains funny to me that fellow west sider Aguirre never caught hell for it.

I didn't hate Krause, but I thought it was good natured ribbing initially. Krause appeared to enjoy it. Then it became personal at the end.

Jackson and Homan is walking distance from Chicago Stadium. and the United Center. And a person could have pissed from one of the windows of the Henry Horner Homes and or Rockwell Gardens and struck either stadium back then. And if you think Jordan was only hanging with people that you knew at Gibson's and the Chop House back in the mid 80's, then you are delusional. The gambling alone should have been a tip that he ran with quite a few guys from the street back then. Not that you'd ever hear about such a thing from Nike or the Channel 7 News back then.

Maybe not his rookie year or year two rehabbing in Chapel Hill, but it’s not as true as the spin goes, Jordan was a regular at the Cotton Club and DeJoies for years. It’s how Juanita trapped his rube ass.

I don’t know who was the most useless prick after 90-92, Crumbs or the chicken shit Sam Smith.
