Isn't a political position to some though, it's religious or social. In any of those cases he shouldn't be forced to celebrate a position he doesn't agree with.

I was thumbing through Katy Tur's memoir yesterday. Surprise, surprise, another child of nepotism in journalism, and her dad was Bob Tur, a freelancer who bought a helicopter on credit and got the aerial footage of basically every terrible thing that happened in Los Angeles in the '90s. Bob Tur was by every indication a loathsome man who regularly beat his wife and daughter, went broke, lost the chopper, and thus beat his wife and daughter even more, at one point telling his wife "I only know how to communicate to you through violence," which is if "you made me do it" went to college. Bob didn't die, but his name did: he realized that the reason he was so violent to the women in his family was that he was a woman living in a man's body, so he became a woman. He went on to tell Katy that his new and improved ladybrain made him more compassionate and bad at flying a helicopter because flying a helicopter requires a male brain.

After his transition, he went on Dr. Drew's show to talk about trans identity alongside Ben Shapiro. Ben Shapiro was being an annoying little pissant, as is his nature, calling now Zoey Tur "sir," but then "Zoey" dropped his vocal register back to Bob range, grabbed Shapiro by the neck, and threatened to put him in an ambulance. And if that doesn't tell you that mentally ill men stay mentally ill men, I don't know what does.
