I thought he wasn't all that and would get it exposed in the SB. But it was the defense that got exposed. Hurts was dope.

Completely agree. The kid played his ass off. I was wrong about him. He's legit.

Geez. That’s pretty much Bob’s seal of approval.

His fumble-6 was a turning point.

It was a factor, but how was it a turning point? The Eagles extended their lead after that.

He was more of an MVP tonight than Mahomes.

Another turning point is letting the chefs slice and dice you so easily after hurts tied it up at 35. Another turning point was allowing a 65 yard return down to the 5. Not sure why you overlook all that and single out the fumble. Really deplorable performance by a supposed top 5 defense. Exposed.

Welcome to reality, he's better than Lamar. You'll be saying this next season about Lawrence.

Puts Eagles up 7
Puts Eagles 7
Fumbles
Puts Eagles up 7
FG

Ties game up with 5 mins left

Every yard was meaningful

Hilarious. The Chiefs scored on every drive in the second half. What happened to the Eagles ten point lead?

Yeah, I'm not sure Lawrence will make that leap. He's not a big game quarterback.

If the Bears wanted to trade Fields, and they should trade Fields for the right deal, the price just went way up if Hurts is the ceiling for Fields.

If Hurts is a realistic ceiling for Fields, the Bears should not trade him.

Probably not. I think this is more about how the league sees him.

I was laughing yesterday wondering when Bears fans were going to start this chorus.

But Fields couldn't find a better template for his game. If they can find actually talented players to put around him.

And there has been enough time to forget the last game he played, and the fact the Bears hid him behind an injury in their last game. There is a great set-up for the Bears right now.

Mahomes was playing on a broken foot too. That wasn't fake pain.

Shouldn’t want to be anywhere near Philly on any day really.

The mob should be rioting at the house of James Bradberry. I'm constantly amazed on a daily based of the low football IQ of your professional athlete. That holding was ticky tack, but for fucks sake the worst thing you can do is commit that penalty and give them a fresh set of downs. So when you play your coverage, and you don't lay a fucking finger on him, yes ideally you force them to a FG, but a TD isn't the end of the world as at least you get the ball back with close to two minutes... What in the fuck was he thinking?

This is true

And like you said, the Eagles should have carried him into the end zone on the subsequent play. How is it they don't plan for these scenarios? I also blame the coaching.

nobody was near him to touch him, let alone carry him into the end zone. Once he broke through to the outside they were giving him the TD. He wisely refused it.

They weren't near him because they let up assuming he would run it it. But they really should practice running to the player and then carrying him to the end zone for this exact situation.

nobody was carrying anyone into the end zone. if they had pursued harder he would have still slid. nobody was near him, he was in the clear. At that point the only hope the eagles had was that Rube was calling the shots for KC.

Caller Bob mad he bet on the Eagles when there was no way Roger Goodell wasn't going have this super bowl be the coronation of Patrick Mahomes as the sole successor to Tom Brady. The league probably put a Gregg Wiliams bounty on Brock Purdy and sent that interloper from Cincy home. Josh Allen JoshAllen'd. Bobby Herbert ended up on the wrong team with the wrong coach. They weren't going to let Hurts cock-block Mahomes taking full, exclusive ownership of the crown.

You need to look at it again. Not to mention your "practice" methods.
