Yeah, it's amazing how you can run one of the worst franchises in the league (26th out of 30 teams over his tenure, no playoff wins, and no appearances in last 7 years) and still make BILLIONS.

Charlotte isn't even a college town. It's basically a super sized Naperville and Aurora where people go to raise kids and work in the banking industry. (Apologies to the poster whose mother lives in that general area.)

The Bobcats organization was incompetent even before Jordan bought them. I remember when they were going to start their own RSN but no one signed up to carry it, so they had to put their games on the Carolinas version of CLTV, if you can imagine such a ghastly thing. Really just an unnecessary expansion; the league should have pushed the old rapist owner of the Hornets out and never bothered with New Orleans.
