Got a chance to listen to his radio broadcast today. Sure he has some issues, but it is still pretty cool that the guy has got to fulfill a dream of his to do some MLB play by play. And hell the Cubs are 3-0 on his watch, so give him some more games!

Now his partner, whoever that was....woah nellie that was bad. She actually described Bellinger's homerun as a Belli Basket bomb. She made Meatpants sound like Vin Scully in comparison!

I was in my car for a few hours today and yesterday. Caught a lot of Spiegel doing the Cubs game.

I thought he was very good. More smooth then I would have thought. I thought the girl was decent as well. I have no idea who the hell she is but she was fine.

Spiegel is brutal and it makes me question McNeil's and good dolphin's judgement. He is so terribly unKarl Farbman like.

I was just talking about his play by play on the Cubs game. He's annoying as a talk show host.

It does matter because RFDC posted about him doing baseball PBP. Totally different than him hosting a sports talk show with Mac or whoever.

It does matter because you have always loved to check on something a couple times years ago and then proclaim that your opinion is always right. You listened to Meat a couple times back years ago and now have proclaimed that he will always suck. What he did with Mac many years ago has nothing to do with his PBP stuff now.

And this is coming from a guy who has been historically a meatpants hater. I started a Meatpants sucks thread. Yet I am willing to admit he has gotten better over the years and has found a nice niche in the SCORE lineup.

I can’t say I’ve heard much of ZZ on a cubs broadcast.

The Spiegel broadcast had the energy level of what I’d expect from a foreign language broadcast of a Chicago Dogs game. He made Darrin Jackson sound like Bob Uecker.
