For a period of time(10 years or so) I made custom walking sticks and canes for disabled veterans and cops. I used to give them out free to VA offices and clinics and a few VFW and Amer Legion chapters. Made from hard woods my family and I find in the Big Bear area out here in So Cal. These sticks also double as nice weapons to defend oneself from muggers, knife attacks, and the like. I hope to recover my hand motor skills due to parkinson's disease well enough to resume my hobby. I had some martial arts training using a staff like weapon and you can really disable an attacker pretty well if you know how to use one of the sticks that those Sykh's had.

yes thanks for asking. it took me some time but I've gone outside but not too far. still sort of traumatized.

haven't gone back to the market yet. the other guys I set my shop around are trying to help me out but i told them i'm not ready yet.

eventually I will have to get back to start earning money again. especially now with the summer tourism winding down.

what kind of shop are you running ?

mainly souvenir's. trinkets. hand made beads. that kind of stuff.
