I was impressed. I think the Packers suck overall, Justin Fields will make any defense look pretty good, but Love looked great. Hard carried them at times and particularly on third down.

The Bears are about as talented defensively as most SEC teams and probably worse coached, but Love doesn't pick who is on the schedule. He passed his first test with an A+.

He sucked and I’m confident he’ll continue to suck.

Agreed. I’d say the thing I liked best was that he seemed calm in the pocket and appeared to survey the field. His accuracy was inconsistent but he didn’t look overwhelmed. We’ll see how he looks when he faces a better pass rush, but the O-line was a strength coming in so I don’t see that as a major issue.

Guy sucks. Half his yards were on two slo-mo, across the field throws that a competent defense swats away. He missed wide open receivers, threw wide even on completions. He sucks. And he’ll continue to suck.

I wouldn't mind the Packers going 3/3 on HOF quarterbacks. There would be comfort in the continuity, honestly. I just want the Bears to find a way to compete with that however they can. Not fruitless trying to build greatest show on turf offense out of spare parts because they have some deep seeded complex about never finishing in the top half of passing offense. Just put together the best team with the best coaches.
