The real winner of the Claypool trade is Franky T, who hated it from the start for the Bears and never wavered. Kudos to you, good sir. I still think Claypool didn't get a fair shot to catch passes in Chicago but you were right about hating on him in any case.

He didn't call shit, he's just a another loser Steelers fan that claims Bears fans anointed Claypool as a savior despite no fans (at hear at least) claiming such. But suck him off if you like "Vegan"

Had to trade for a young #1 receiver like Claypool.

Essentially a Roquan for Claypool swap. Fantastic. Young #1 Wide Receivers are not hitting Free Agency so you had to trade. The draft at WR isn't looking good either. The kid from Ohio State is hurt all the time, the one from LSU has a bad attitude, you basically have the big WR from TCU and that's it.

Claypool = DK Metclf :lol:

What's a Chase Claypool contract extension going to look like? DK Metcalf? Similar players, stats(Metcalf has more TDs), picked in the same round...

I traveled to Pittsburgh and watched him "single-handedly" beat the Buccaneers in the 4th quarter last year. He was abusing Sauce Gardner last year to the point the kid had like 3 DPIs. He excelled with noodled armed Big Ben. By all media accounts, he had a great training camp. That said, he was universally hated by Steelers fans and media and was hated by Bears fans and media essentially before he took the field. What did I miss?

Like I said when the trade happened, he has the body and the ability to be really good. He must just lack the desire. Maybe he doesn't really like football. A lot of players just play because they are good enough at it to make a good living for a little while. Natural ability only gets you so far.
