Showing highlights of Super Bowls from days gone by. Despite being a lifelong Packers fan, I really didn’t appreciate how good Bart Starr was. I always assumed it was mostly 2 runs and then a pass only if needed back then, but there was much more early passing than I expected. Pretty interesting really.

I get sucked into these classic NFL games on yt. Algo recommends a Lions-Rams week 1 tilt from 1980 and 2 hours later i'm still listening to Vin Scully and George Allen announce while watching Billy Simms run all over the Rams in his NFL debut.

Rams played on a baseball diamond back then. Lions that season played Rams @ California Angels field in Anaheim; Packers @ Milwaukee County; Atlanta @ Braves Fulton County Stadium and Cardinals at Busch (Lions played Cardinals 2x that regular season, for some reason). Last team to play on a baseball field probably the Raiders, I'd think.

Thanks for the heads up about these. I love stuff like this. Used to watch highlights of all those superbowls as a kid.
