I'm with Boyd....Weather people / Meteorologists are a complete waste of air time. It's one of the many reasons I hate the news. The fact that this guy's retirement is some kind of public celebration is just gas on the fire.

That's why I rarely watched Skilling.

Plus, if he's going to carry on for so long and go into so much detail, WGN could have at least staffed the graphics department with something other than colorblind 10-year-old kids using MS Paint. It was as though they had been told to use as many colors as possible, aesthetics and readability be damned. Hopefully that has changed since I last saw one of his forecasts on TV.

so we live in the QCA but our daughter goes to school i chicago so my wife for almost an hour was watching skilling on her phone. never heard of or seen of him before. She was head over heels for the guy. apparently our weather people here suck.

I bet Skilling’s forecast on that walk would be hot and humid.
