That thread is people posting their age when they are the primary driver / its their car. These are 30, 40, 50, and 60 year old men, as well as guys in their 20's, stating they love their GTI.

I know we are such asshats for driving safely and obeying the traffic laws while we have kids in them and aren't cutting the corner at 40mph when kids are getting on and off the bus and being frustrated at the bus driver for having their stop sign out so the kids can safely enter/exit the bus.

I'm gonna play devil's advocate here for a moment. I don't doubt that you drive safely. What I will say, from experience, is that there is a portion of the SUV/Minivan driving mom population that drive like complete assholes. Just like there are hatchback drivers, sports car drivers, coupe drivers, sedan drivers, motorcycle drivers, and truck drivers that are complete assholes while on the road.

I absolutely detest driving around my kids school at drop off/pick up times. I would say probably 80% of the moms I see driving the big ole SUV have their Cell Phone glued to their ear. I have almost got hit by them in my car several times because they are so busy chit chatting that they are not paying attention. Sadly some kid is going to get hit eventually.
