yeah....i think Rick got that one backwards
it happens to the best
The suburbs are filled with great sandwich places.

i think the town of Orland Park has roughly 100 restaurants, and 99 of them are chains

Within 4 blocks of 159th and Harlem

Starbucks
McDonalds
Burger King
Taco Bell
El Famous Burrito
Dunkin Donuts
Portillos
Oberweiss
Wendy's
Cooper's Hawk
Outback Steakhouse
Panda Express
Pizza Hut
Subway
Little Caesers

Holy shit that list was longer than I even thought and I probably missed a few

Part of that is Tinley Park and Oak Forest, though.
Here is out that intersection shakes out; ( | = Harlem)

OP | OF

--159th St--

TP | TP

But, point stands. Lots of chains. You could do the same at 159th & LaGrange or 94th Ave, which is all Orland (Park & Hills)

Chains are everywhere. The difference is you can easily drive right past them for better option. Way to go suburbs!

The Wreck is good. The macaroni salad and potato salad is good. The double chocolate brownie cookie is good.

Chains are everywhere. That is correct.
The part about driving right past them for better options MAY be correct, except you might have to drive 10 miles whereas in the city you can walk down any street

I don't think you have to drive 10 miles though. Pizza, sandwiches, burgers, and tacos are pretty easy to find anywhere I've lived.

Driving into the city for the weekend and parking for low cost!
Then, going home on Sunday and not having to deal with all the headaches of the city during the week!

You get all the good parts about the city!

Add in some quality use of priceline and hotwire and you are dominating the game of life!

As pointed out by Frank,
No chance of getting pummeled at a Bears game!

The Bears play in Chicago, not the suburbs. Another W for the 'burbs!
