Well, I have not been Bowling for a long time. I have only been in a league for about 6-7 years and this year I am only Bowling once a month (the 2nd Saturday of the month) yet I will still averaged 191 going into this past Saturday's Championship match where I was 117 pins over average (690 total) in the match. So perhaps in light of the fact that I have not been Bowling for a "long time" and only Bowl this year once a month, it's not unreasonable to feel pretty good about a 690 series.

Well, wake the fuck up.....I had a 700 series a couple years ago in the Sunday (weekly) league I previously bowled in. Why you seem to think it's less impressive that someone has a 690 series when they only bowl once a month is beyond my understanding. I think it's a lot easier to bowl well, when you bowl multiple times per week, rather than so seldom. But I'm sure it has more to do with wanting to try to avoid giving any credit for an exceptional night Bowling. But anyone with any sense knows it's easier to do well when you bowl more often than very seldom.
