Minnesota will be fine until Jerry Kill dies on the sidelines.

I'm just pointing out that they lost their bowl games. They really can't be used as part of a big ten gloat.

It's more than just the results of the bowl games. For the first time in a long time, the Big Ten has a lot of teams that can compete with the best from other conferences, and Michigan is going to come on very fast.

How long until Purdue can compete with the MAC?

1-1 this year. Improvement!

Seriously though, the new coaching staff has followed the previous staffs strategy of basically avoiding the Chicagoland area. I do not get that.

It isn't worth it. Too much competition for not enough talent. The big boys take the elite and Illinois and Northwestern are similar enough programs that most would just choose them instead. They'll target a few players there but there are better areas for them to go to where they are more successful.

The biggest mistake the previous staff made was giving up on Indiana but they are working on that now.

The playoff will finally give Big 10 and Pac 10 teams a chance at a title. Not penalize them for beating each other up.
