I think it would have been a real cheap foul. Especially at that point in the game. I watched it several times and I didn't think the defender affected the shot.

Yeah, that's how I feel about it. Just because the guy missed badly from the far corner doesn't make it a foul. I think no call was appropriate. That's not a hot take or anything. I'm honestly surprised that the consensus was that it was an "obvious foul."
