There has to come a point though where he's going to hurt Northwestern football and undo any good he has done. They are going to be terrible going forward.

Purdue has the opposite problem. Brohm is happy at Purdue and doing well but on his way to Louisville.

He's two years removed from playing in a conference championship game.

COVID year never happened.

They came up with a deal for horseshoe seats, so The Puck is in for Sat night.

4 tix for $109?

That was the offer I got this morning.

Can Louisville pay as much as Purdue did for Brohm? Isn't he in the top 10 for comp?

It doesn't matter. His dad wants him back in Louisville and his father is going to win.

Whats the buyout after this year?

$1 million I think. He had all the leverage when he almost went last time.

Maybe he will have another miraculous turnaround but I wouldn't bet on it.

Hard to think there are greener pastures than the manure fertilized South Farms.

Ha! Hopefully, his wife learned her lesson on the mean streets of the SEC conference and appreciates being at IL. I'm assuming she pushed him to leave WI. If he wins at IL, he could be there for a couple of decades.

My thought with him is that he's been around a bit. He's basically back home. He could settle in for a decade or more if he chose. He's not the Bill Self ladder climber at this point in his career.

If he has success, why not stay? UofI has a ton of money to pay a coach. They gave Lovie $5 mil/year. I don't think he's going to be so successful that some NFL team is going to come looking for him and throw NFL money at him. Stick around, win some games and retire.

Says the guy that lives in Missouri.

Ha! Good one.

Looks like I have to hit Aurora tonight and take that 3 and a half with Iowa. (Stupid IL Gaming rules).

Oh and bet the under I don't care if it's 32.

Betting the under on all remaining 2022 Iowa Football games is a sound strategy

Time for Pat Ryan to insist that Northwestern look into replacing Coach Fitz.

Sitkowski is just awful. Bob Avellini back there. Which is weird, because he replaced a guy of that race.

I've watched 2 game in full in the past 3 days with only 12 field goals scored.

No TDs. I should get an award.

Bielema and Lunney had a rough night. Not adjusting to Sitkowski being in the game. Letting Sitkowski throw inside the 5 is unconscionable. Clock management was brutal at the end of both halves. Confusion on D at the end of the game with a DB having to run across the field even after a timeout.

If Devito is not back they may not win another game. Even Northwestern.

In game experience still needs work. Can't get a beer or food. At least was able to get into the stadium without a huge delay.

Don't even get me started on the decision to go empty backfield and have Sitkowski run the ball on the non-fumble fumble play. Insanity.

Not after Eddie Murray hit the quickest home run in history.

But I'm glad to see you get some joy watching the Illini. (Oh that hurts  )

Sitkowski is awful. They've have to score a bunch on defense to win with him, unless they have some sort of game plan for him.
