I will enjoy the fact that noted football experts such as LoHo and Bernstein are going to be in knots over the prospect of ND firing this guy.

Of course, that won't be nearly enough to convince me to listen.

Coach rightfully got a lot of crap for the start of the year. But he has done a nice job of righting the ship.

That aerial shot of the crowd during the alma mater was orgasmic.

I felt like he was the right hire. Recruiting is going to be the key. Glad to see the team did not quit after a tough start.

ND’s quarterback sucks. Like really really sucks and it’s embarrassing that he’s the best they have. That being said playing as well as they do with that anchor is impressive. Both Freeman and Kelly seem so be figuring it out.

I agree with you about ND's QB.

They are still only a couple of weeks removed from shitting the bed against a bad stanford team.

It's been a bad year punctuated by a few big performances.

The game at Syracuse was a lot trickier than the casual observer will know.

I think you have to give a college coach 5 years to judge. That's a long time but it takes most players a long time to develop.

He’s been net bad so far. He inherited a top 10 roster that was relatively stable year-to-year and promptly lost his first three games (including a home loss to fucking Marshall).

They seem to have figured things out these last couple weeks, but the ACC is dogshit so it’ll be tough to know how much they’ve improved until Southern Cal.

I don't really disagree with you here. It has not been a good year. But it would have been really easy for the team to roll over and get curb stomped by Syracuse and Clemson and limp along to an even worse season. They bowed up and showed some toughness. That is a credit to the coach. I think it will prove to be a pretty solid hire in the big picture.

I still think they go after Urban Meyer.

no doubt. Lot's of people were predicting losses in both of those games. @Syracuse is a tough game. However, the ACC is just so mediocre. Clemson was always overranked.

I've been pimping Hartman here the entire season. I thought he was entering the draft. I think he is 25+ years old. ND must have given him a lot of money.

He will be great for them. Savvy player with a lot of grit. Really a great college player who might not be much as a pro. Some ND fan I talked to said he was like Ian Book. He has about 10x the talent of Book.

I heard someone on a broadcast say NC St Leary was the gem of the portal. He will undoubtedly be a better pro but I will take Hartman 10 out of 10 times as a college player.

Tommy Rees taking the Alabama OC job. Never thought too highly of him, wonder what Saban sees in him.

Tommy Rees sucks, Saban is past it. With Bama and Clemson becoming the next Nebraska, ND is poised for decades of dominance.
