The bus that circles down the drain? Howard's Rock is cool, but the bus is lame.

Why do they always lose to NU? You're right, though--the Hawkeyes are much weaker than last year...

Iowa is horrible. This is what you get when you make a head coach "Coach for Life". Lazy recruiting and poor coaching are the result. Pathetic.

Woof I feel like shit for watching that IU/Sparty game. That idiot IU kicker is an ass for celebrating his GWK after missing 3 previously

First half was pretty boring. This 4th quarter was great though.

My main takeaway from this game is that neither Watson nor Jackson is fit to play quarterback in the NFL. They look more like receivers, as they rely on their athleticism far too much and are unlikely to be able to make smart plays in a pro style offense the way guys like Cousins, Bortles, or Gabbert do week in and week out.

Another kickass Saturday. UT/UGA, OU/TCU, WI/MI all good stuff.

College just keeps bringing it.

How does FSU remain in the top 25? They have two losses, one of them as bad as the program has ever seen. They have another game where they trailed by a lot to Ole Miss. They also tailed by double digits to USF.

I agree with your larger point, but where did you get your info on the FSU/USF game? They We're never down more than 7 in that game.

I thought it was 14-0 rather than 14-7

That was the greatest day of tv sports I've ever seen.

The Tennessee/UGA & FSU/UNC finishes sealed it. I still don't really like Josh Dobbs, but that was an Aaron Rogers like Hail Mary.

Its funny though, the vertical game of college is almost completely lost in the pros, where goofs like Stafford get paid millions to throw anywhere but near a receiver. And the NFL's increasingly boring product is starting to often become unwatchable imo.

Julio Jones had 300 receiving yards in one game...

Clemson/Louisville is a good example of why I can never fully jump on board with college. The defense in that game was just fucking abysmal, and that was with both QBs playing somewhat erratically. It was Mel Tucker's Bears levels of bad, and those are two of the top 5 teams in the country. Give me a fucking break.

Charlie Strong reportedly going to be fired at the end of the season. Should make for a great rest of this season.

Article says they want to go after Herman, but offense is not the problem at Texas. The defense is soft as wet tissue paper. The offense is dynamic and obviously well coached. When you see three (!!!) PATs blocked against OsU you're gonna lose some of your mojo as an offensive unit. That's why I think they couldn't find any consistent offensive momentum in the second half of that game.

Houston is SO close to getting an invite to the Big 12, the idealist in me would like nothing more than to see Tom Herman remain the Cougars head coach. I don't see it happening, but he's already laid the groundwork for recruiting bout of TX. The offense he runs is almost unstoppable when it's clicking. He could own the state, and Big 12 in a few years... Money talks tho.

I don't know I think this might be the last week for Chuckles Strong at UT. If he gets violated by the Sooners I expect the administration might make a move. That Longhorn defense is no gouda.

I'm surprised Hazell survived that 50-7 beating by Maryland, though the guy is 2-2 with Illinois coming up.

Charlie is definitely voting for Trump.

I would rather lose with him than win with a bag of shit like Urban Meyer and the scum he recruits.

I'm very interested in this Tennessee-Texas A&M game. Two top 10 teams but I don't think either of them are that good and their fan bases are two of the most delusional in all of college football. Bama-Arkansas is another decent game this week. Hawgs are at home. Possible upset? Also looking to see if Miami-FL is real. They host FSU. The Ex-Purdue QB Bowl is Saturday as well! LSU is a 2.5 pt favorite at the Swamp.
