My bad, forgot about them on their bye week. Alabama, Notre Dame, LSU, Clemson, with LSU most likely getting knocked out of the top 4 it's got to come down to either Michigan if they win out or OKla Texas in that 3rd or 4th spot.

I suppose you could consider LSU for now, but they are going to die against Bama and a 2-loss team isn't getting in the playoff.

Congrats, Purdue is going to be fighting with Wisconsin & Iowa for the west for many years to come they look damn good and their coach just thrashed the most overrated coach in college football.

I expected him to go to Louisville at some point but I also don't think he wanted to so quickly. I mean, it wouldn't shock me if he did after this year but I don't think he will. For what it's worth, he has by far the best recruiting class in Purdue history coming next year, with a ton of returning talent, and he is telling all of them he will be at Purdue for the entire 4 years they are(matches up with his kid who is also a coach and his high school years).

If he stays, they are probably the favorite to win the Big Ten West next year and a Top 25 team. He really is building a monster program.

One day he will leave, but I think he'll be around for a little while. He seems to love the challenge of winning at Purdue. I won't feel comfortable until January.

I have a friend who is convinced he is the next Barry Alvarez. Bring Purdue from the bottom to be a contender year in and year out.
