You guys that want Painter fired are crazy. He is a good coach and a really good recruiter. He has a job for as long as he wants it.

Purdue has them right where they want it. Virigina loses to #16 seed and then does what the next year? Yeah next year is their year

Last year, as a #3 seed, Purdue lost to #15 seed St Peters. In 2021 as a 4 seed they lost to 13th seed North Texas. But keep telling everyone what a great job Painter is doing.

You're a schmuck!

Yes Bob I am the Schmuck here.

As an Indiana fan I hope they fire Painter tomorrow. I love giving Brick and Purdue crap. But that is part of the fun of sports. They give me crap about IU and rightfully so.

But unlike you I can be somewhat objective about things. Painter has done a helluva job at Purdue. As Brick rightly pointed out no one had Purdue being a 1 seed or the Big 10 champ this year. The credit for that goes to Painter.

Their tournament record is not the greatest, especially the last 3 years. But that is not all there is in this. How many big 10 championships have they won under him? How do their teams play? How does he recruit? The answer to all of those questions are in support of Painter.

If Purdue did fire Painter he would have another good job in a heartbeat. And Purdue would not find a better coach any time soon.

Had no idea they banged around like that.

Always nice to see Duke get bullied.

This Princeton Mizzou game may not see 90 combined points.

Yeah that Tenn game was quite the thing. I am kicking myself. Going into the end of the season I really liked Tenn and expected them to make a deep run in the tournament, but I foolishly bought into the idea that their injury problems and a tough match up in the first round would mean an early exit. Stupid on my part. But part of the fun of this tournament.

Pearl and Sampson are 2 of the slimiest coaches ever in the game. Maybe both can lose.
