I don't follow college baseball, figured #4 vs #2 has to have some talent. Who else is a high prospect to look for?

Florida- SS Johnathan India, 3B Deacon Liput, C JJ Schwarz (senior sign)

Arkansas- C Grant Koch, OF Eric Cole, SS Jax Biggers

They both have big arms coming out of the bullpen.

Watching the Florida kid (Schwarz?) hit a shot out of lf I can't help but wonder if in the old bat days people parked their cars just past the fence?

I was always amused by the not knowing people who want to park in close.

So 3 of the states 11 D1 baseball programs have a winning record.

I don't get why it is so hard for these teams to be competitive with all the players who sign out of the Chicago area every year.

4 teams have winning records (Uof I, UIC , SIU, Bradley) but that’s not why you called. I’d say the main reasons are:

1. The best players go south because the weather here sucks
2. The facilities suck. U of I is a joke. Worst facilities in the Big Whatever the other schools facilities suck too. Until Illinois schools start putting money into baseball programs they’re going to continue to get beat.

I’m not a fan of amateurs who throw a splitter but fuck me Mize is a nasty bastard. He’s going to be a human wood chipper in pro ball. Even if the Tigers get a HS guy to bite on a deal I can’t imagine how you let this guy get away.

BTN really needs to go away. All they show are piss poor teams' spring football games and women's softball.

They really are clueless. Fridays they could be showcasing the best talent in the conference but instead they show reruns of track and field or lacrosse. The SEC Network does it right but these goofs can’t figure it out. It’s very frustrating.

Not exactly beautiful baseball, but I love the Durham stadium that's barely allowing any pitching today.

And my guy Josh Stowers hit a bomb to boot!

Stowers is your guy. He went yard again today.

Minnesota won the regular season title and the Big Ten tournament. They will host a regional in the NCAA tournament. It doesn't look like Illinois will be getting in.

Post subject:  Re: 2018 College Baseball

Illinois didn’t get in. Neither did Kentucky. That’s shocking. Minnesota is paired with a really good 2 seed in UCLA. The Big Ten has 4 teams in the tourney. Minnesota (1), Purdue (2), Indiana (2) and Ohio St (3).

The tournament starts today. Not a lot of great matchups on the tube. South Carolina vs Ohio St 1pm on ESPN2. Indiana vs Texas A&M at 4pm on ESPN2. Wright St vs Stanford at 9pm on ESPN. RHP Ryan Weiss will start for Wright St. He went to South Elgin HS and should be a 3-5 round pick in next weeks draft.

Crazy ending to Indiana and Texas game. Questionable strike 3 call and then a crazy catch/no catch moment to end game with bases loaded in a 1 run game

The super regionals start today. There are some really good matchups. The midget plays at 4pm and Drake Fellows (JCA) pitches for Vandy.

Minnesota vs Oregon St 4pm on ESPN 2

Vandy vs Mississippi St 7pm on ESPN 2

Oregon State vs North Carolina

Arkansas vs Texas

Florida vs Texas Tech

I finally saw the pony league steal (runners on 1st and 3rd). I don't know who goes first, the Auburn pitcher or the coach.

And for the right fielder to do that! Condolences.

Followed a little but no much to give an honest opinion, do like watching this time of year, like it more when the Finals was just 1 game, not best of 3, who do you think takes the title, from an outsider, would say Texas, Florida, or Oregon State

Both of those teams are really good and really deep but I have Arkansas. That's a power team. Lots of power arms and lots of power bats. When they get on a roll they absolutely bludgeon teams.
