It's interesting to see this play out though. I wonder if democratic strategists assign any weight to what we're seeing given that Reese and others are potentially gen z voters. Can they take this fallout as an early indicator of gen z minority attitudes toward the Biden and/or democrats. This has to be frustrating for Biden folks after what they see as genuine commitments to diversity, starting with adding Harris to the ticket itself. That entire practice is foolish on several fronts. I'm not even sure it is totally well-intentioned; as much as it is meant to level something or another, it's partially intended as a subtle FU from one group of Whites (the ones with power, and those who identify with them) to another group of Whites (the rest of 'em).
