Was I the only person slightly confused that the main topic on ESPN all yesterday was that Alabama has now clearly established themselves as a tier above everyone else? They beat a team of second stringers in Tennessee and I am struggling to see how their win over Ole Miss is supposed to be less fluky or cause for concern than Ohio State's win over a better team in Wisconsin. The mere fact that Ohio State went into overtime does not override the fact that Bama gave up 43 to a team that's barely top 25.

I thought Bama would take a small step back this year, but this looks like Saban's best Alabama team.
