This is great. Maybe it will make creepy people not want to watch kids play football anymore.

Michigan and Penn State said they won't play on Friday night.

I figure it will be lesser games to get exposure on their network.

I'm pretty sure the Big Ten will eventually tell them to deal with it. I'm going to guess every school but Indiana and maybe Minnesota(who seems to actually like these weird start times as they normally play on the first Thursday of the season) will tell them they don't want to host a game.

The bottom feeders like Purdue and Rutgers will jump at the chance. Why do you think they are finally putting lights up at Purdue?

No they won't.

They are putting up lights because the Big Ten mandated it as part of the new television contract. Though, the main reason is because they want to have more 3:30pm Saturday games and even more night games on Saturday.

There is no benefit to a Friday night game outside of the tv networks having more live content to show.

SO they can be scheduled for Friday nights.

The amount of 3:30 and Saturday night games will dwarf the number of Friday night games.

There are 6 Friday night games total in the conference per year. They will suck but they aren't putting lights up so they can host a Friday night game once every 2 or 3 years.

Maybe they will start hosting some HS night games.

Wanatedt this morning felt no team would likely get this more than once in a seat. No biggie.

Ohio. Not Ohio State.

Purdue will now only lose by 3 touchdowns instead of 5.

I thought only high schools were allowed to play on Fridays, only college on Saturdays, and only pros on Sundays.
