Once again,despite terrible coaching in the last few minutes NU has prevailed! I really have mixed emotions about Pat Fitzgerald as time and time again I see bad coaching decisions such as having your QB in the shotgun on your own 4 yard line trying to protect a 7 point lead late. Also who coached up the DB's to intercept a 4th down pass in front of your own goal line and fall down instead of knocking it down and getting the ball at your 18??? |

They could and probably would do a lot worse than Fitzgerald. He seems to get good assistants. I assume this is in part to assistants knowing he has that job for life. |
