2-1 odds RR was the LaVar Ball of his crew.

I couldn't shoot. So that often made me "LaVar's" hype man.

Judging by Lavar's 2.2ppg in college, I don't think he could shoot either.

Of course. I know a lot of people like him. They can be funny or annoying.

I should have watched the whole interview. It's clear he is just knowingly playing the heel in wrestling. I thought he was just a fool running his mouth. He's trolling. I can appreciate that.

I'm glad this assholes kid lost, I don't see how anybody could like this loud mouthed dumb bastard.

I wouldn't draft his kid, his old man is too much baggage and a distraction.

The nation’s preeminent Sports Dad is at it once again, folks. LaVar Ball’s latest comments are on son Lonzo’s trip to the Sweet Sixteen with UCLA and why the team couldn’t make it further, as reported by the Orange County Register:

“Realistically you can’t win no championship with three white guys because the foot speed is too slow. I told Lonzo - ‘One of these games you might need to go for 30 or 40 points.’ It turned out that was the one game. Then once they get to the Elite 8, they’re right there.”

Those three white guys would be TJ Leaf, Bryce Alford and Thomas Welsh, and Ball did not come particularly close to “30 or 40 points” in the Bruins’ elimination game. He scored 10.

Is there any place besides basketball where white guys get abused like this.

If I'm Alford I consider dropping his other sons. They aren't as good anyways. Then again, Alford has a long history of looking past bad behavior so he probably doesn't care.

He doesn't care about bad behavior but I'm sure he cares about this guy being a royal pain in his ass.

I can't figure out why Lonzo hasn't told his stage father to give it a rest already.....
It's not like this kid isn't going to get real paid just based on his talent alone.
His pappy is an embarassment and if it were me, I'd tell him to STFU and stop already.
Maybe promise to even pay for some teeth whitening.......

Ugly shoes and just a douchey way to jump into the league. Not sure who buys these. I actually have a hell of a lot more respect for Stephon
Marbury who came out with his inexpensive line of Starbury shoes. Kids could get a new pair of basketball shoes for under $25.

Given my 17 year old son and his friends fashion choices anything is possible.

He has a job but I would discourage these mostly because I have no idea how well they are made. He mostly likes Jordans and Adidas. I will buy him nothing.

They'll sell a few but it's a big gamble that is has a huge chance of failing. I'm not a sneaker guy though so spending 8x more than I do on Sambas is inconceivable.

There are worse ways to spend money than on lonzo's shoe.....such as funding Jules' trip.

Post subject:  Re: LaVar Ball

since the release 400 people bought shoes. they were expecting (he was expecting) thousands. but 400 is still good enough apparently as now the asking price to get in on the action is 3 billion instead of his initial 1 billion.
