Another great game for Trae. 44 pts, 9 assists in a win over Baylor. Pretty amazing considering the bums he plays with.

I've not watched a game of his yet but I have seen a lot of highlights. When he is cold he can't hit the broad side of a barn. I don't really
remember much of Steph Curry in college but don't remember him being so hot or cold. He is rocketing up the NBA draft boards.

I don't. I also don't remember Curry leading the country in turnovers. Not saying your guy doesn't have talent but he will be a project in the
NBA just like all the other young kids that seem to get drafted high.

Wisconsin has had some decent wins for a bad team.

Meanwhile, the Illini are kicking ass (up by five at half) on the road at Rutgers, which has historically been a nightspider for visiting teams.

Illinois is a team you don't want to face come tourney time. Dangerous.

Chicago St is 2-28 and has not defeated a D1 opponent this season. That is bad even for them.

Seton Hall vs. Villanova turning into a barn-burner. FS1 if one is inclined to check in ... 8:37 left in the 2nd half, 38-37 Villanova.

Last annual shoutout to West Virginia via Proviso East PG Jevon Carter who the other day became the first D-1 player to reach 1,500 points, 500 rebounds, 500 assists and 300 steals in a career. He was the National defensive POY last year and will probably be close this year. The only school in the state to offer him was Illinois State. Sad!

I watched the end of the game. Louisville interim coach and the team is full of idiots. They're up 4 with 6 seconds left so of course they foul the Virginia player shooting a 3 with 0.9 seconds left. UVA player hits 2 free throws, UVA called for lane violation on 3rd free throw. So all Louisville has to do is throw the ball in bounds down court and the game is over. Dumbass Deng Adel goes to inbound and apparently doesn't know the rules of basketball cause he starts running the baseline with the ball Whistle for moving violation, UVA gets the ball with 0.9 seconds. Finds Hunter for a banked in 3 to win the game.

Total meltdown by Louisville.

UVA has a great coach. If any of these top coaches eat it due to the FBI probe, he has to be at the top of everyone's list.

What's the deal with Marquette's nut-hugging jerseys? They look like the Celtics from the '80s.

http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basket ... trae-young

After leading Kansas to a 14th consecutive conference title, Jayhawks guard Devonte' Graham was named Big 12 Player of the Year.

Voted on by the league's coaches, Graham was a unanimous selection over Oklahoma freshman guard Trae Young, who leads the nation in scoring (27.5 points per game) and assists (8.9). Young's hot start to the season vaulted him to the top of the national player of the year conversation. But he struggled in conference play, and the Sooners went 1-7 in February to tumble all the way to the No. 9 seed for this week's Big 12 tournament.

Went to the Xavier and DePaul game. Zaidman was praising DePaul's defense, but dear God was Xavier cold in the first half. If DePaul wasn't so bad at basketball (3 fouls of three-point shooters, the one time the guy flew in the air right into the shooter, it was fucking ridiculous), Xavier would have lost by a pretty decent amount. I'm assuming Xavier just played down to their competition; otherwise, I have no idea how they are ranked so high.

There isn't a bigger Trae Young fan than me, but if Oklahoma makes the tournament and Ok. State doesn't that's the biggest travesty of justice in NCAA history.

If Oklahoma makes the tournament at all it's a joke. I've been saying since mid january that they wouldn't make the tournament. They really are the biggest collection of bums besides Trae. Every last one of them sucks balls.

I agree with you. NCAA has never let a team with a horrible record like theirs at the back end of the season get in according to SportsCenter this morning,
but I am sure they would love to have the kid in the big dance to see if he can get hot and make a storyline. They belong in the NIT.

They can't win a road game. They aren't getting hot.

Below .500 in conference with 13 losses and a first round tournament exit doesn't get you to the NCAAs.

you would think not, but all braketology experts say OU is still in.

Total sham that OU and ASU are gonna make the tourney and a team like Ok State may not.
