I agree Denis.

The idol worshipping of Coach K is a pet peeve of mine. ESPN even gave Duke basketball its own mini series leading up to the season. All that does is help recruiting. It's slimy shit.

Funny story about this Zion kid. My son is a freshman at college and has never liked or watched a basketball game on tv in his life I am pretty sure. Absolutely no interest. Apparently his roomie has an interest so he has seen a few now.

Saturday he is over having dinner and out of no where comes at me with hey Dad you see that Duke game and that new player? He is all excited and I can't quite believe it. Me being super cool Dad and purveyor of the board goes "you mean Zion Williamson"? He was all like yeah etc etc.

Anyway, was funny that a non fan was so impressed by this kid.

The only problem with that is that they will definitely lose this season. They play in the toughest conference in the land. They don't have much depth. Eventually they'll either have to deal with foul trouble or a really bad shooting night or a key injury. They'll lose this year and they'll lose more than once.
