I don't follow college football much.

But is it true what people are saying?

That Northwestern has the worst offense in the history of college offenses. Which I'm pretty sure goes back over 100 years.

Fitzgerald has a job for life. Neither side could do better.

Fitzgerald had NU playing in a B10 championship game last year. Let that sink in.

It's a bad year but this happens every 4 or so years with the cats when they have a turnover from a veteran QB. Unfortunately they got starry eyed because a Clemson QB actually deigned to transfer to them. That guy couldn't even really win the starting job out of training camp and once the better QB (who wasn't all that good either) went down, they were cooked.

I'm not sure what they have coming in at QB next year but they should be fine. They have a nice RB tandem who have been injured this year. The defense has been excellent
