Indiana looked much better against OSU than against NU.

Penn State struggling at home. Can't score inside against the big guys of Wisconsin.

Rivalry game.

Isolated incident.

Nice win against Mich St for IU tonight. They seem to play well against Mich St under Archie, that is 3 in a row vs them

I barely follow IU these days. Are they tournament bound?

They are currently 15-4.

I think they have a pretty good shot, but the Big 10 is full of teams just like them. They could easily go on a stretch of losing several in a row and hurt their chances too.

Is that coach any good? Any hope for the program to become elite again? Not sure if the coach is a top recruiter or not, etc.

Archie has done a good job of locking in some Indiana recruits. He seems to be a good recruiter. The questions come from his ability to bring those kids along and get them to play to their potential. The rest of this year is huge for him. If they struggle down the stretch and fail to make the tournament he could very easily be gone. The current AD is retiring, so a new AD could very well want to go a new direction with his own guy at the helm.

Will IU ever be elite again? I don't see them getting to the level of Duke, Kentucky, UNC every year. But I think they can be at a level that they compete often for the Big 10 and have the chance to make deep runs in the tournament occasionally. But the days of Bobby Knight are gone and I don't see them coming back.

Thanks for the info. At least the football program isn't a complete joke anymore. I hope they can hold on to that coach...

Michigan State this year was only ever gonna go as far as 2019 B10 POY Cassius Winston carried them. After Winston's brother stepped in front of that Amtrak it more or less ended Michigan State's title hopes. Maybe Winston will shake it off by tourney time. His brothers both went to the same college down the road from MSU and spent a lot of time hanging around the Spartans team. Izzo even scheduled an exhibition between Albion and MSU a few weeks before Zachary Winston's suicide, to get all 3 brothers on the court at the same time. Tho one of them ended up not playing in that exhibition game due to injury.

Yeah I have been pleasantly surprised by the job Allen has done with the football team. I honestly thought he would be a huge fail. But he has done a good job recruiting and has them playing some better defense. So hopefully the new AD will be able to continue that and keep the basketball team moving forward.

Creighton upsets Villanova. I forgot Doug McDermott's dad still coaches Creighton.

Nova looked piss poor. Seton Hall lost at home today, too.

Hope DePaul can score an upset as well....

Hard to get interested in Dayton, Baylor and San Diego State if you're lazy.

DePaul folding doesn't help.

Lots of rumors flying that the General Bobby Knight will be in attendance for the IU and Purdue game. First time since 2000 he would be at an IU game. I hope this is true...

some great games today, very much looking forward to spending a solid 10 hours watching basketball today and tonight.

Starts off with my other team, LSU, going into Auburn to most likely get their asses kicked.
