Dan Patrick is reporting that if the Big 10 can pass updated safety measures (don't know what they are) they are going to start October 10th.

Seems better than the SEC & ACC starting in three weeks with outbreaks all over their campuses now. But it would be nice if they were open and transparent about their protocols. Perhaps even providing models for the rest of us.

It seems counter intuitive but outbreaks on campuses are GOOD. COVID is less dangerous than the flu for 19 year olds and the campus is close to being a bubble. Obviously, it's bad for those who have to physically exert themselves, like a football team.

Sounds like an unofficial revote is happening on Friday, and if that goes well then an official revote is happening on Friday. Some schools may still opt out. That list is supposedly Maryland, Minnesota, Illinois and Northwestern. It sounds like all the rest of the schools are ready to play football.
