he's a terrible coach. Still getting mileage off of one lucky run to teh final four at VCU. Was an abject failure at Texas. Had NBA talent on his roster every year and never accomplished anything.

This year also brought a new dimension as his team was brought down by infighting and malcontents. Had two players nearly get in a fist fight during a game. They ended up blowing a big lead after the altercation and losing the game. In a recent game his McDonalds All American freshman went after Smart for pulling him from a game and had to be taken back to teh hallway to calm down. Smart never put him back in the game and benched him for most of the next game too.


He can recruit, that's literally the only thing he does well.
