It affected the shot. Which is why the shot came up short.

I feel so so bad for that juggernaut, Creighton. 2-17 from 3 should have been enough.

The Creighton kid got beat off the dribble so he tried to get away with a foul to throw the shot off.

He rightfully got called for foul.

Welcome to basketball.

yep, it's as blatant a foul as you can commit. Guy is up in the air shooting and you put yoru hand on his hip and nudge him to the left or right. 100% affects the shot and 100% a foul. Time and score has no bearing.

This is why cliché kills thought.

That was NOT as blatant a foul as you can commit. It was not even blatant at all. That's why people are debating it. The whistle itself was late.

He had his hand on his hip which restricted his elevation leading to the shot being short.

It's great to be debating calls. But like the one at the end of the Super Bowl, replays showed that the call was correct ultimately.

He actually showed well in all shooting drills.

It's about his perimeter defense right now. Plus, why not get a million or two in college and then go try and make the NBA.

Good one.

No worries tho, that will always hold a special place for us Brick!

Congrats on finally seeing your team get to the final four.

How is it possible that Gene Keady never reached the Final Four? It seems like PU had a lot of good teams in that era and he was certainly considered to be a top coach.
