teams on a prime time special?

I seem to recall it was during a yearly christmas or new years show.

1984 was a pretty great group of players. There's only a couple that didn't make a big impact in the pros

I'm surprised Bob Hope was able to do this because he could not improv at all. Every one of his special or talk show appearances was 100% scripted.
