Went to the ISU vs. Murray State game on Saturday. My daughter joined a sorority at ISU and it was dad's day. Lots of fun up until the Murray State QB took a hard hit to the head and was knocked out. Had to be stretchered away in an ambulance. His mom was sitting right by us and she did everything she could to get on the field to see him. Hearing her screams in a completely silent stadium is something I won't soon forget. Hoping to never witness something like that again. Sounds like the kid was discharged from the hospital and is doing fine, thankfully.

I don't think Florida State was all that great, but they probably drop to #5 in the playoff rankings. They dropped to #5 in the AP today. First of all, Washington should be ahead of them anyway, especially after this weekend. They have the most wins against Top 25 teams and the second-most difficult schedule.

But it looks like the FSU quarterback is done. I wonder what will happen if Alabama and Texas win out and Alabama gets in over Texas?
