Could be Iowa again.

Illinois and Purdue should be happy to lose as quick as possible in the BTT especially since Illinois has a 50% chance of playing on the Thursday after.

Hoiberg might be the best coach in the B10.

As long as we don't get the team that lays on the floor complaining about a no-call while the other team breaks towards the basket.

Hoiberg has done a really nice job, but he is not the best coach in the big 10.

I know who is also not the best coach in the big 10 and that is fucking Mike asshat Woodson. And Indiana has done just enough at the end of the season to keep his lazy ass around for another year. I have never been so done on Indiana.

I hope Purdue wins the National Championship this year.

He is the laziest recruiter ever. He literally had to be told by the AD that he had to go watch a high school sectional game. They have 0 current recruits on board for 2024. It is crazy. And it sounds like the AD is ready to move on, but he has Quinn Bucker the president of the Board of Trustees on his side and he is adamant that his buddy gets a 4th year.

Who is?

Izzo and Painter are both better. I would say Collins is close.

Hoiberg is at best the 3rd best IMO

Izzo isn't what he once was. I'm not sure Painter or Collins is better than Fabulous Fred.

I'd put all three in front of him. Maybe with a few more successful years--and they may be better next year (according to Stephen Bardo).

I would have said Greg Gard until six weeks ago

I agree Izzo is not what he once was, but he is still the best coach in the conference.

Painter is 466-206 over his career and has led Purdue to 25+ wins in 7 of the last 9 seasons. The only knock is he has never got to the final 4 or won the national championship.

He is absolutely better right now than Hoiberg.

Definitely agree with that.

It also ain't Underwood (as much as I like the guy) or Juwan Howard.

I assume that job's gonna be open soon.

I'll be tuning in this evening to watch the game. Not sure what to expect after a long layoff but I'd like to see them play some good basketball the next few days.

It’s been a pretty good game overall. OSU are playing for their NCAA lives. Always tough to play a team who knows it could be their last chance.

This OSU coach is going to make it hard on the school, he is fighting for an opportunity to be the full time coach

Dainja yet again. Why was this guy hidden on the bench so much?

Wow Illini get 2 calls from the officials. Clear foul on the blocked shot and then they threw down a guy on the rebound and no call.

OSU fans going nuts. But that's what they do.

Illinois got a few breaks, but that offensive foul on Ohio State near the three point line was just a stupid play. Would have been Illini ball anyway.
