Can Billy take AK with him?

I hope him bouncing for Kentucky is on the square. It actually makes perfect sense for him to do so. If he goes to Kentucky, then he'd likely solidify his status as a "Hall Of Fame Coach.

No DST here, so a 7:20 Central Start. Agree too late…

Edey’s going to have the entire uconn team in foul trouble by the end of the first half.

Some pretty bad takes on the midday show the last couple days claiming Clingan was somehow an equal or even better than Edey.

Matt Painter is looking like a younger John Calipari. Or possibly an older John Calipari depending on the angle.

If Calipari were stung in the face by bees.

It already feels like Purdue can’t win this. Despite several moments where it feels like they have momentum they are always trailing and it’s slowly moving further away.

Fletcher Loyer is terrible…plus he’s named Fletcher.

They have the same problem Iowa did against SC; one player show. UConn has more impact players.

Edey was running on fumes at the end of the half.

the team that shoots the 3 better will win this game. So far that's UConn

I loved how he shoved it down the Illini's throat after the Illini publicly acted like they could beat UConn.

I wouldn’t discount the attrition potential Edey brings. He’ll keep grinding away and drawing calls.

I don’t think I can take watching iPhone’s “Don’t Let Me Go” atrocity again. Not much of a game to watch either.

I think Edey is the one getting worn out. He looks gassed to me.

I'm in Indianapolis at a bar right now, and it's a sad showing for Purdue.

Tip of the cap to UCONN. 1980's level of dominance.

My condolences. I enjoyed watching Edey last night. It was like old school center play basketball. Especially matched with the 7'2" kid.

I'm as happy as I have been after any game this year.

UCONN is one of the all time great college teams. They had a great game plan and Purdue is a couple years from being able to match their NBA talent.

 NBA talent

Is Painter changing up his whole plan?

I don't mean "one and done" talents though they have one potential "one and done" coming in next year. Overall, it may be the best recruiting class they've ever had coming in next year.

But it will be more like UCONN who has NBA talent but that talent are all multi-year players.

Post subject:  Re: March Madness!

I gotcha. I thought you were saying Painter was switching to a Calipari type plan.

There is no doubt Painter has it going on right now.

Meanwhile IU has 1 recruit for next year and seemingly not able to get anyone off the transfer portal.

Fire Mike Woodson!
